SOCSARGEN, DAVAO AND MIMAROPA PROVINCES — Leading LPG solutions provider Solane now provides the safe, trusted, and reliable Solane LPG in an affordable and portable size. Also known as Solane Sakto, the new 1.4kg lpg cylinders are now available in North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, General Santos City, Davao del Sur, Mindoro and Marinduque.
“We are expanding the availability of our Solane Sakto cylinders to provide our consumers in SOCSARGEN, Davao, Marinduque and Mindoro access to affordable, safe and environmentally-friendly kitchen fuel,” Solane LPG Chief Executive Officer, Tonito Gonzalez said. “The addition of the Solane Sakto cylinder to our portfolio aims to provide more Filipinos with access to affordable but clean cooking fuel that will fit their lifestyle.”
Available in 1.4-kg cylinders, the new Solane Sakto tank is a safer and more sustainable fuel substitute than charcoal or fuelwood, and offers an affordable solution to the increasing price of LPG and oil products.
Priced at PHP 180 per refill, the small but reliable Solane Sakto caters to budget-conscious households and renters as each tank can last up to a week of cooking for the typical family of five. For small businesses and consumers, the Solane Sakto tank can also provide clean and safe cooking fuel during unforeseen situations or emergencies, lasting up to 3-4 days for heavy cooking.
“We Filipinos are known for our love of celebrating, eating and cooking. With the introduction of Solane Sakto, we want more Filipinos to be able to preserve that culinary zeal and passion without breaking the bank,” Gonzalez added.
The Solane Sakto is also suitable for outdoor use, perfect for camping, outings and other gatherings. Its collar handle is designed for better grip and portability and can also be stacked vertically for easier storage.
A versatile cylinder that can be used for both LPG and canister-fed cooking stoves, the Solane Sakto also serves as a safer alternative to LPG-refilled butane canisters which the Department of Energy (DoE) described as a “serious fire hazard“. It also provides a more sustainable alternative to fuelwood or charcoal, which can pose health risks and cause environmental degradation in the long run.
Solane assures that just like its Verified Solane LPG products, the Solane Sakto upholds the highest safety standards the brand has been known for over the years. Each tank is equipped with a high-quality auto-shut (AS) valve which has a built in ‘auto shut-off’ feature that prevents product leak.
The Solane Sakto launch in select provinces of Mindanao and Luzon follows Solane’s introduction of the product in several areas of Iloilo, Antique, Capiz and Aklan, with more provincial rollouts in the pipeline.
Solane’s 1.4-kg variety will be available in authorized Solane showrooms in Koronadal, South Cotabato (0923 5393915); Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat (0922 8417102); Polomolok, South Cotabato (0948 7699141); General Santos City (0922 8417103); Digos, Davao del Sur (0998 5859660 / 0917 1191154) and Kidapawan, North Cotabato (09338799773).
